Peas - Sugar Snap

Best tasting of the snap peas, the Sugar Snap Pea bears abundant 2½ -3" meaty, juicy pods with 5-7 medium sized peas each. It provides an excellent source of protein, is crisp and sweet in flavor, and is great fresh or frozen. A versatile culinary delight, Sugar Snap Peas are welcome in a myriad of dishes. As a healthy side dish, serve Sugar Snap Peas with main entrées or toss into fresh mixed green salads.  The perfect pea for early spring or late summer.  Plants will climb up to 6' and require support.
